American born, UK-bred, Odsyi is making a statement with his woozy, pensive alt-R&B debut Loved x Lost (Loved and Lost).

Misty vocal melodies and a trap beat intertwined with an indie pop-inspired synth create a dark, shawody downtempo vibe, reminiscent of a Weeknd’esque soundscape.

Lyrically, the introspective track uses sophisticated writing techniques to portray strength through vulnerability. “The song is the result of a toxic relationship with my child’s mother.Odysi explains, “There was a long period of time when I couldn’t see my child and I didn’t know when I would see her again. It sounds like I am talking about the mother but if you listen closely to the lyrics you can see I am talking about the relationship with my child.”

With a sound born out of his early Hip-Hop and 2 Step Garage MC and developed as a singer/songwriter, producer, and engineer for a selection of global top tier music artists, including Giggs and Stefflon Don, it’s clear that Odsyi (Neiman Brown) is primed to take a leap in his own direction.
