ONE of Northern Ireland’s biggest charity Art Exhibitions will take place later this week with over 150 different artists contributing to the show.

Art Of Caring, a charitable group, will celebrate it’s 15th year producing the exhibition and is set to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the Marie Curie Cancer Care organisation.

Since it began in 1994 Art Of Caring has raised in excess of £110,000 for charity and sold over £300,000 worth of art. And the organisation today is proud to announce that the country’s finest artists are back on board for another year.

Nuala McKeever And Artie O’Neill, OBE are getting ready

Paintings and art photographs will range from £50 to over £6,000 meaning there is something for everyone. This year artists will include everyone from Brian Ballard, Neil Shawcross and Carol Graham to Leslie Stannage and Maggie Wright.

Artie O’Neill, OBE, Chair of the Art Of Caring committee said: “We are delighted that Nuala McKeever will formally open the exhibition.

“The support we have received over the years has been phenomenal and we’re looking forward to repeating that success this year again.”

The Art of Caring Art Exhibition and Sale 2010 will be held at St Colmcille’s Parish Hall, Ballyhackamore, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast, from the April 16-18, 2010.
