No-Frills Belfast Rocker Ricky Warwick On The Road Again

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Ricky Warwick was cut from the cloth of a mill workers jacket. Ricky has embraced no-frills, emotionally direct, pure music exemplified by such American influences as Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Woodier Guthrie and Steve Earle.
Ricky hit the road hard in 2009 playing over 110 shows in 13 different countries, including a 2 month European tour with fellow Northern Irish rockers Therapy? Ricky has also opened for acts such as Cheap Trick, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams and Sheryl Crow over the past few years, Ricky earned his salt engaging large crowds, yet Ricky’s headline performances are captivating and give his fans a feeling of intimacy and connection with his music.
Already in 2010, Ricky has opened shows for Cheap Trick, in Canada and the U.S.A. being joined onstage by Nathan Connolly from Snow Patrol at the House of Blues Show in Los Angeles. Ricky has also taken part in the Belfast/Nashville Songwriters festival in Nashville. Playing two shows culminating in a sold out performance at The Belcourt Theatre.
