Naarm/Melbourne electronic artist Ninoosh shares the animated video for That Sinking Feeling via Wild At Heart Records.
Directed and animated by Asher McShane, the clip turns That Sinking Feeling into a world of clouded weight, domestic ritual, and soft release; holding the messy truth that healing rarely moves in a straight line.
Ninoosh says.
When life is hard, know that things look better after some time. Time heals wounds…

The video features Ninoosh, Wilson, and husband Daniel in animated form, moving from Vegemite-on-toast intimacy to dreamlike flight and Luna Park’s rollercoaster. A sharp metaphor for life’s uneven ride.

Ninoosh folds sampled nature sounds into electronic textures, shaping a sound they describe as “if Fever Ray, Björk, and Jewel had a sonic baby.” Weird, intimate, earthy and very much its own thing.

The release lands ahead of Ninoosh’s forthcoming EP Rebirth, while their wider work continues through Synth Babes, the collective supporting women and LGBTQ+ artists through festivals, compilations, and workshops.

With That Sinking Feeling, Ninoosh turns endurance into animation and electronic craft into something quietly human. No forced uplift. Just movement, memory, and the slow work of staying here.
