Nakamax‘s latest single So Bad is an emotional future bass track full of smooth vocals (by Noëm) and melancholic lyrics, and will slowly make you feel like the warm breeze of summer is blowing over you.
The Canadian producer/songwriter explains: “The song is a smooth yet epic and inspiring future house/bass track with vocals that are full of emotion and melancholic lyrics about wanting a better life.”
Although Nakamax and Noëm had never met before their studio session, they found that the experience was surprisingly valuable. They had talked on facetime a few times before and exchanged DMs, but once they met in person for the first time with the engineer, their natural chemistry came out.
Nakamax reveals: “The song was recorded in Montreal. I made the instrumental, wrote the lyrics, and linked up with Noëm (the singer/feature on the song) through a mutual friend. She interpreted the lyrics beautifully.“
