‘Ginsberg’ is the charmingly intense, psychedelic pop gem from Sydney’s MOSSY, the musical project by “modern Renaissance man”, musician and actor Jamie Timony.
The Allen Ginsberg inspired tune, is the perfect follow-up track to his previous single ‘Electric Chair’. Both songs are taken from Mossy’s self-titled debut EP, out May 13 on I OH YOU.
On his music ethos, the multi-talented artist says: “Playing music just makes everything feel good. It’s a spiritual practice. It makes me feel closer to everything. Like I’m in the right place…”
On his forthcoming EP – produced by Dean Tuza and David Kahne – that he recorded while sleeping on blowup mattresses in a basement studio on New York’s Lower East Side, MOSSY reveals: “The engineer to Beyonce and Jay Z, Stuart White, was in the studio next door to us and we became friends. He’d pop into the studio to find out what we’re up to and he was enjoying what we were doing.”
