Miss Northern Ireland gets some Taste of Ulster

THE Taste Of Ulster Guide 2008/2009 will officially be launched on Monday June 30 . However, in advance of the launch Miss Northern Ireland Judith Wilson joined last year’s Miss Northern Ireland Melissa Patton at Nick’s Warehouse in Belfast this week to get a sneak preview of this year’s guide.
Miss NI 2007 Melissa officially launched last year’s guide and gave her successor Judith Wilson some tips on what to do on Monday when she officially unveils the guide to it’s members.

Judith and Melissa were joined by Chairman of Taste Of Ulster Nick Price and TOU Executive Director Michael Bell.
Michael said: “The aim of Taste Of Ulster is to promote good restaurants, hotels and other eating places as well as quality producers who we believe offer excellence in local food, service and authentic innovative cuisine”.

Nick added: “The existence of a brand such as Taste Of Ulster is imperative to ensure consumers can be confident of what they are being served when they sit down to a meal anywhere in Northern Ireland”.
This year over 100 establishments have passed inspection to get into the 2008/2009 guide. A full list of establishments will be released on Monday.
