Fabulous magazine sits down for a chat with Mischa Barton, best known for playing Marissa Cooper in The OC.
But watch out, because when she met the team she was definitely channelling her bitchy on-screen character. “Shall we pretend we’re having fun,” she snapped. But when she’d mellowed a bit, she fessed up to what she loves about the UK.
“In England I eat what I like, I love bangers and mash! But in LA, I’ve been eating healthily and exercising.” Mischa has been criticised by the media for her partying days, but she says, “I’ve never had any problems with alcohol or drugs, I know why people may have thought that I did and things were hard for me, but I was young.”
But it’s all gotten a little too much for her: “I’ve hit a place where I’ve had enough media attention.” She was featured on Fearne Cotton’s show recently, but didn’t hit it off with the DJ and presenter: “I don’t have anything nice to say about her.” Ooh er.
