Me & The Moon are back with their new vibrant indie-folk EP ‘Everything’s Changing’, an eruption of vibrant indie-folk stylings that demonstrates their unique artistic growth since 2015 and why their sound is one to look out for. Released via Luna Sky Recordings, Everything’s Changing offers a thrilling yet chilling experience upon first listen.

The first track on the EP, Strangers, offers a festival-ready song that perfectly reveals the tone throughout the rest of the EP. Feathered with luscious, crisp clear production and warming chord progressions, it almost seems like it belongs in the background of an intro to a nostalgic romance movie. Followed by Cutting You Loose which expresses more heartfelt lyrics of someone suffocating your personal growth. From start to finish, each track brings you on an emotional journey with luscious, sundrenched sounds that produce feel-good anthems.

Me & The Moon talk about the meaning and inspiration of their new EP, “Over the last few years, along with everyone else, lots has changed in our lives. We’ve grown up and moved cities to start new adventures. We’ve discovered new music, got two very cute cats, and had lots of time to reflect. Through these five songs we’ve explored these ideas of change, how it can be difficult for us, others around us, and leaving things behind that once seemed important and hopefully, each song means something new to every listener.”

The duo often play across the vast London Pub scene, bringing their highly energetic shows to the folk community with their full five-piece band. Their live performances offer softer, acoustic-led performances for more low-key and intimate nights, and with their names cropping up on multiple UK festival lineups this year, it’s noticeable that Me and The Moon are a pairing beginning to take center stage.
