"Being forced to stop and look at where things are going and realizing that you need to take 'take your foot off the gas' to enjoy life and not just always be looking for what's next."

South-East London duo Me and the Moon have spent the last few years living their dream, headlining festivals and performing their music up and down the country. Today the duo return with their latest single via Luna Sky Records in the form of the smooth, acoustic anthem ‘Fast Lane’

The production is stripped back, with guitarist Jonny Elstone’s strumming taking center stage, providing the foundation for vocalist Tamara Grzegorzek’s lovely topline.

Speaking on the new single, the duo state: “Fast Lane is one of those dreaded lockdown songs that every songwriter has written,” explain the duo. “But it’s actually about the positives we took from that time; being forced to stop and look at where things are going and realizing that you need to take ‘take your foot off the gas’ to enjoy life and not just always be looking for what’s next. It’s about how important it is to be in the present.”
