LUPA J RELEASES ‘NUMB’: I WROTE IT WHEN I WAS 15

LUPA JLupa J, the eighteen-year-old Sydneysider, classically trained violinist turned indie electronic song maker, releases ‘Numb’, the first single from her forthcoming EP ‘My Right Name’.

Speaking about the dazzlingly electro soul gem, Lupa J says: “Numb was the second song I ever recorded; I wrote it when I was 15. It wasn’t quite right in its original form, but I didn’t want to leave it behind – so it has since been through about six different versions, and this is the one I’m now finally happy with.”

On her debut EP ‘My Right Name’ Lupa J says “It reflects a passing of time and a series of evolving emotions and attitudes…”

‘Numb’ amplifies what she started with her previous releases ‘Dirty Skin’, ‘Armour’, ‘Quiet Here’ and ‘Waiting For Her’.
