Following the release of ‘Blue Whale’, Swedish/Philippine intriguing artist LUHA, shares her second single “SHE”, another dark electronic dream-pop bliss.

I’ve always had – explains LUHA – a strong connection with nature and ”SHE” is about humans relationship to its fragile surroundings. The world we are living in today is really getting me inspired. I want more. I want to make a change.

Could you briefly describe the music-making process?

I get a lot of ideas when I’m out walking or if I’m just sitting on a train to work. I record the melody very fast on my phone and after that I take it to the studio where me and my producer are working with the production. I usually need to be all alone when making melodies and lyrics and I love to sit by an old piano in my childhood house.

What are your dreams and goals?

I want to make more music and I don’t want to be afraid to try new things, to be experimental. I really wanna feel free while making music, cause there’s so many things in our society that don’t make you feel that. My goal is to get even better and hopefully make an impact.

What kind of music are you listening these days?

My music taste is very diverse. Right now I’m listening to a lot of Kendrick Lamar, Sevdaliza and Lorn.

Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

Hmm, what a tough question! I think there’s been so much and many types of genres that’s influenced me in my work and also a lot of memories and different situations in life. Right now I’m very influenced by nature and politics.
