Who are some of your biggest musical inspirations and why?
PAUL McCARTNEY, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, Passenger, Alanis Morisette, because they all have songs that come with deep meanings from a truthful place that are relatable to everyone.
What are some non-musical inspirations that motivate your music?
People around me and the world inspire me. Issues in the world, people who have fought internal and external battles. Being in open spaces around nature and wildlife inspires me. My personal life experiences are portrayed through my music.
Tell us about your new single ‘Control’
The essence of Control is when you have been in a Controlling relationship and actually leave the relationship, they no longer control you, you find your value, your free to be yourself in any way that may be. Empowerment and positivity. It comes from a personal experience.
What have you got lined up for 2021?
Control is actually part of a trilogy, the first was Girl You Used To know and I am currently writing the third. His year I will be concentrating on my EP and hope to have some live performances.
