Lost Like Lions is an indie alt-rock band from Buffalo, New York, that is currently tearing up the indie rock scene. In their first release of 2022, Back to Life, the band demonstrates how hard they have worked over the past few years to define their sound and communicate who they are as artists.

“Back to Life is a track about reinventing yourself, and knowing that at the end of every problem or obstacle, there are always better days ahead.’’

The track is laden with musical references to some of the band’s biggest influences, such as Jimmy Eat World and Death Cab for Cutie. A celebration of all that is good about 2000s pop punk; Back to Life is full of just that: life. Guitarist Jamie Bigaj provides the earth-trembling, guttural guitar that gives the song that classic indie rock quality. Drummer Jim Kaczmarski manages to handle the tempo changes easily, injecting vigour into the track and enhancing Derrik Schiersing’s gruff vocal delivery.

Lost Like Lions’ latest EP, Fear of Letting Go is due to be released this August. In the meantime, the band have just released a fresh new single, Conversation. Check them out on any good streaming service, right now.
