LORI Says I’M STILL HERE With New Electro-Pop EP

By Frank Bell

Already making waves with her rock band Weekend Recovery, LORI’s debut solo EP I’m Still Here sees her heading full pelt into a different direction, as she slides effortlessly into the world of electronic pop with epic results.

Although it was primarily written about LORI’s own personal mental health journey, the title track I’m Still Here with its poignant refrain, Hey, I’m here, I’ve survived, superbly deals with emotions we can all relate to over the past 2 years!

Beginning with minimal synth pads and LORI’s stunning vocal, the track explodes with a soaring crystalline chorus taking inspiration from Foxes, La Roux, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and Phoebe Bridgers, but with LORI’s own story and gift for creating compelling pop moments at the forefront. An infectious survivor EP for everyone in 2021, I’m Still Here looks set to put LORI firmly on the map as a solo artist and give everyone hope for the future.
