Produced by Danny Allin (Daniel Blumberg, Marmozets Labrinth) LONGLIGHT’S sophomore single develops the sonic universe introduced by their racing debut Choppy Water. Starring the trademark soulful voice of Jo Williams alongside simmering synths and a lyrical Lucas Polo guitar line, Alara drives itself through genres, whilst all the time keeping rooted in classic pop.

Just BEGGING to be played out of a festival Soundsystem, Alara is an impressively big-sounding tune that is also intimate in its sentiments. The music shapeshifts from stadium indie anthem to washed-out experimental electronic banger. There’s a heartfelt tropical feel all around Jo Williams’ yearning vocals. Very promising stuff from Kings Langley in Hertfordshire by way of London!
