TOD, otherwise known as Tola Oluwole has been making music since 2015. The London-based Hip Hop artist just dropped his first EP called Blurr. This is an intimate and engaging journey through the life and experiences of the artist.

On TOD’s EP, you can obtain an overview of the challenges he faced, his aspirations and personal anecdotes. The 6 tracks of the EP show his lyrical talent and allow fans to more easily establish a bond with him.

He reveals: “We all understand what it is we want but we also find it hard to tap into the potential needed to realise these dreams even when we are more than able to”.

Out of Reach‘ is an excellent start for the captivating sound of TOD, with bold kicks and dreamy synths that perfectly complement his meaningful lyrics.

As the EP progresses, TOD‘s narrative evolves and his attitude shifts with each track. From Raw to Unchained and Trill, he gets more careless and confident. The tracks become even more interesting with the integration of voice extracts and Trap beats, creating a fun but appealing soundscape.

Blurr is the ideal starting point if you are looking for a new hip-hop sound.

With his creative vision and attention to detail, TOD signed up for ‘Gain ctrl’, a government-backed program that opened the door to music production, writing and recording.

TOD‘s new EP is the perfect sequel to his first single Bus Ride, which was produced by Charles from Planet1999.

TOD’s debut EP is a window into his world, introducing listeners to the more personal side of the artist and his craft. It makes it possible to understand who he is and what he stands for.
