Australian blues and roots singer-songwriter Tash Sultana is back with another piece of their long-awaited album, TERRA FIRMA. The new track represents a spiritual return to the artists roots, taking its name after the period of self-reflection that rebalanced Tash’s previously hectic touring lifestyle, Sweet & Dandy.
Led forward by Sultana’s clean electric guitar riffs, Sweet & Dandy is another song that showcases the singer-songwriters extraordinarily wide range of talents, with almost every note being produced, composed, and recorded by Tash themselves.
“Sweet and Dandy is about the process of withdrawing yourself from negative distractions and living in the present, always remembering that you are enough,” says Tash, who has relented just how essential it is to be in love with what you produce. “You and you alone, you do not need the world to tell you to be a certain way.”
After Sultana’s debut album, Flow State, blew up receiving 6 ARIA Awards and winning the category for Blues and Roots Album of The Year, the Australian artist skyrocketed into public success. Now reaching over a billion worldwide music streams and performing on the world’s biggest stages from Coachella to Lollapalooza, TERRA FIRMA sees Sultana’s return to music that they are completely passionate about making as they look to keep improving.
