Today OXEGEN announces even more artists for this year’s festival. Lily Allen heads an impressive list of acts that cover a multitude of musical styles…Keane, The Specials, Paulo Nutini, Wallis Bird, Digitalism, The Mars Volta, Swedish House Mafia, Miss Kittin and The Hacker, Crookers and Hockey.

Lily Allen is one of the most engaging popstars in the world as well as one of the most successful. Her second album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ and the first single from it, ‘The Fear’ have both recently gone to Number 1 in the UK.

Keane bring great hooks, big choruses and massive middle eights to OXEGEN. Their impressive third album ‘Perfect Symmetry’ has helped contribute to sales of over 8 million since their debut in 2004 with ‘Hopes And Fears’.

Coventry’s finest, The Specials have embarked on a re-union tour 30 years after they formed which sold an amazing 45,000 tickets in an hour. This performance will be a unique opportunity to catch the Ska pioneers and founders of the Two Tone label.

Scottish songsmith Paulo Nutini is still only 21 years old and yet he’s racked up over 2 million sales from his debut album ‘These Streets’. This performance will be a chance to hear some new material from his eagerly awaited self-produced follow up as well as the instant classics such as ‘New Shoes’ and ‘Jenny Don’t be Hasty’.

Europe’s Favourite Rock & Roll Weekend will be home to the very best in both new and seminal music this summer, taking place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare from 10th-12th July 2009 (subject to licence).
