Berlin-based songwriter and pop-punk enthusiast LEEPA returns with her new EP ‘Brain Freeze’ – it’s a project that sways between the emotion of her most somber work, and the ferocious pop-punk stylings of tracks like ‘How To Live’.

LEEPA was skyrocketed into the psyche of many when previous singles ‘i’m sorry, are you’ and ‘switch places’ were released in the middle of the pandemic, going viral on Tik Tok and having fans of both new and old raising their voice against sexism in unison with her through their videos using her songs as the soundtrack.

Post virality, she went straight to performing at Climate Live and Fridays for Future, sharing a stage with megastars such as Milky Chance.

Speaking on the new EP, LEEPA says: “The EP turned out to be a collection of different topics and sounds which made me feel like I was brain freezing. It’s eclectic and odd but at the same time it makes total sense: like always with me, there’s a lot of sense in what shouldn’t make sense.“
