Hailing from LA, rising electropop artist Kel Adore discovered her passion for music at the age of seven in Denver, Colorado, setting the stage for her future in the industry.

Kel refined her craft locally before relocating to LA to enhance her songwriting within the city’s vibrant scene. Immersed in recording sessions and prominent stages, she released her debut EP, All That’s Left, in summer 2023, highlighting her emotive lyricism and ethereal vocals.

Soft Eyes, a collaboration with Free Arlo, showcasing her lush fusion of electro-pop and indie-pop. The track, created swiftly, emits an ‘easy-listening’ ambiance, merging rhythmic beats with atmospheric layers that harmonize seamlessly with Kel’s smooth vocals. Kel says: “‘Soft Eyes’ signals the first standalone Single in my next chapter of music.

Kel reflects on the inspiration behind Soft Eyes, describing it as a celebration of embracing life’s uncertainties and surrendering to the beauty of renewal:

“When I wrote the song, the image of ‘puppy eyes’ kept coming to mind. You know that look- relaxed, happy, excited, and utterly accepting all at once. It captures that feeling of hopeful anticipation, where we’re blissfully unaware yet fully open to the experience of falling in love. ‘Soft Eyes’ isn’t just a romantic song- it’s about falling in love with life itself, about rediscovering yourself through something, or someone new. Historically, I’ve been someone who craves control as a safety net, but this song is a celebration of letting go, surrendering to the unknown and embracing the beauty of renewal. It’s a reminder to embrace simplicity, and in doing so, to discover just how good life can truly be.”

In 2024, Kel Adore looks forward to new musical ventures and live performances in LA, New York, and beyond. “Soft Eyes – explains Kel – will be accompanied by a full band live acoustic performance video in a recording studio. It will not be a Spotify/Apple Music release or anything like that, but rather a video showcasing my live performance abilities”.
