It’s a Nuanced and Contemporary Take on 80’s Synth-Pop
As long-time stans of L.A duo Peppermint Heaven, we’re excited to finally be getting our ears round their brand new EP Dreams. Born of a love for 80’s influence, synthpop and contemporary indie-pop, it’s a project that’s truly unique and stands out against almost everything else in the contemporary canon.
Now gaining worldwide recognition for their individuality and unique sound, the L.A duo Juno and Spark were not always leaders in their field. Over the years, they’ve built their reputation and streaming platforms such as Spotify, provided the perfect breeding ground for their unique fanbase to grow.
The new EP features the potent, funk-rich new singles Get Your Groove in Line and New York City Nights, as well as delving into moments of serenity and 80’s nostalgia in Dream of Me and Sharing. Throughout the project, there’s an unmistakable 80’s groove, partnered with a modern production standard that’s impossible to resist.
