Fresh from their support slot to Snow Patrol at the recent sold-out homecoming gig, Bangor’s finest KOWALSKI have announced a headline show in the Spring & Airbrake on Friday 28th September. Patiosounds are confirmed as support, with one more to be added – get down early and see the guys before they’re massive!

The Band is collectively 77 years old, approximately 66 metres of cable,1 bass,2 keyboards,2 guitars,a drum kit and four members who go by the names; Louis,Tom,Paddy and Daniel.

If you look up Kowalski in Langenscheidts English to German dictionary you will see that its not there. However if it was (and it will be after I send this sternly worded email to the Mr Langenscheidt!) it would simply define kowalski as “Kowalski”. Thats right! There have been no adjectives or phrases used before now that would do this band justice apart from say ;”shoddy” “indie” “four piece”.

If Kowalski were a political party and had to lay a manifesto ‘upside yo head’ there would be two rules. 1. No power chords and 2. No good haircuts. As you can see we openly break this rule, we have fantastic haircuts. The only thing greater than our haircuts are our tunes. I JEST! Kowalski just like writing music and playing it back to people and they/we hope it will take them somewhere far and increase the amount of amazingly friendly (down right sound!) and interesting people they have met so far!
