Bristol favourites KOKO have just released the sweltering second single to be taken from their forthcoming sophomore EP All Together Now

So Nice To Meet You with it’s deep almost reggaeton vibe provides a sultry message of optimism with powerful backing from their signature pumping basslines.

Speaking of the single the band said: “It’s all about meeting someone for the first time and getting that excitement…the butterflies. It’s a feeling we’ve missed for a LONG time this year – so it’s definitely a song with a lot of optimism for the future”.

The release followed the band’s triumphant return to live performance at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn festival last week, in which the band picked up right where they left off at the start of the year. The band sold out their debut live performance in London back in January and followed up with an electrifying run of singles leading up to their debut EP Follow.

Now the band are back with an even greater eagerness to assert themselves as Bristol’s most effervescent band, whilst staying keenly aware of the legacy laid out before them with Bristol’s rich musical heritage. “The Bristol scene most certainly inspires us and there are some incredible bands who we admire. The passion and drive from bands in and around the city is there for everyone to see,” they say “We believe we are quite different to most of our local contemporaries. That’s the great thing. We are all following our own paths but the support for one another is well and truly there.”

KOKO’s sophomore EP All Together Now is set for release this Autumn.
