KAIROS 4TET Release First Piece Of Music In 7 Years: THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE

Kairos 4tet frontman Adam Waldmann has released his first piece of music in seven years in the form The Body Keeps the Score. The new cut is a deeply moving ode to his grandmother who would have celebrated her 100th birthday this month.

The stunning track features the pure and intimate voice of Emilia Mårtensson, framed beautifully by Waldmann’s delicate sax, which, through the use of electronics creates a droney sound underscoring the songs contemplative mood.

With its ambient soundscapes, soft and delicate vocals and chilled brass this track is a tender tribute, a meditative exploration of emotions and a beautiful philosophical celebration of life, love and family.
