As the wait comes to an end, Julian Casablancas and The Voidz are about to drop their hotly anticipated third album, Like All Before You. The countdown begins.

In a matter of weeks, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz will uncap their bold, genre-bending brew, Like All Before You, to captive audiences everywhere. September 20th marks the digital debut, while vinyl enthusiasts can gear up for October 18th, when the music melds psychedelia, new wave, and artistic indie flavors into an inimitable experiential cocktail.

Recorded between their home studio in Venice, CA, and the esteemed Vox Studios in Los Angeles, Like All Before You is a product of collaboration with high-profile producers Ivan Wayman (known for his work with Beyoncé and The War on Drugs), Justin Raisen (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kim Gordon), and SAD PONY (Lil Yachty, Drake), ensuring a diverse auditory experience.

Julian Casablancas, who first rose to fame as the frontman and main songwriter for The Strokes, continues his evolution with The Voidz. Known for their daring sound that merges experimental rock with a plethora of other genres—from heavy metal and new wave to underground world music and old-school hip-hop—The Voidz have described their music as “prison jazz,” a tongue-in-cheek reference to their avant-garde style.

With a list of high-profile collaborators that includes Daft Punk and Mac DeMarco, this band’s music often crosses into new territories – like the virtual streets of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto, where their original compositions bring the game to life.

The buzz around Like All Before You is loud, and for good reason – this latest release proves that Tyranny and Virtue were no fluke, with the band’s fan base only growing stronger. The new album dials up the excitement with Overture, Square Wave, and Flexorcist – three tracks that unmistakably showcase the band’s bold creative spirit.

In celebration of the album’s release, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have announced live shows in two iconic venues: The Orpheum in Los Angeles on October 16th, and The Apollo in Harlem on October 18th. Tickets for these shows will go on sale this Friday, July 12, at 10 AM local time.
