The nostalgic and emotional ‘New Town Velocity’ is the new amazing track by Johnny Marr, out July 22nd.
He says: “It’s about reconnecting with the feelings I had growing up, the ones which shape you. It reminded me of the hazy summer morning at fifteen when I decided not to ever go back to school”.
Released as a download track, ‘New Town Velocity’ will also be available on 7” vinyl.
It’s backed by ‘The It-Switch’, a brand new song written and recorded specifically for this release which flows between spiralling guitars and a memorable, uplifting hook to create a moment that matches the best of the album material.
