Jodie AbacusLondon-based truly and smoothly talented singer/songwriter Jodie Abacus, drops the video for ‘She’s In Love With The Weekend’, one more of his sleekly irresistible, chilled-out soul-pop production, drenched with timeless R&B and funk vibe.

On ‘She’s in Love with the Weekend’ (out May 20th via Household), Jodie says: “The song was written about someone that I like who is a party girl, but she really has no “off-switch”; she’s in Miami mode all the time. It’s kind of a sad song truly – I like her, but I’m concerned for her because she’s addicted to partying, and I don’t know where she’ll end up…”

Speaking about his music Jodie said: “Songs come from many places…For example I wrote ‘I’ll Be That Friend’ because last year pneumonia almost got me and it was touch and go. A friend stuck by me and came regularly to see me. That’s where the lyric came from.”
