Upcoming indie-trap artist ION has just released a whole bunch of new tracks and provided an intense but beautiful rework of his experimental, trippy track 1 of 1. Listeners are invited to enjoy an intricate contrast between echoing synths and sweet beats. ION AKA Jon Sadiku is based in London and hails originally from Kosovo, and has been mastering his craft of entertaining and clever lyricism atop a bedrock of intricate instrumentation.

This new version of the track has the same trippy, experimental vibe as the original and infuses it with more of an airy feeling that, given ION’s sonic adaptability shine.

Pushing the boundary between dreamy & foreboding, ‘1 of 1 (extended house mix)’ gives listeners a fresh new perspective on the track while still remaining rooted in key human elements and consistent progress.

ION had this to say about the new rendition: “With the original 1 of 1 being so house driven, I felt that the airy foundations of the song could be reworked into a new adaptation that would be much better suited to a DJ environment. Hence I came up with the extended house mix. With DJing now being a part of my musical repertoire, I see this new version of the track as a good way for me to start incorporating my own songs into house sets.”
