This captivating pop track, previewed on Radio 1’s Future Pop, delves into the deep emotions of love and desire, setting the stage for her eagerly awaited second EP.

Trippin has an intriguing backstory, having been resurrected from a long-lost malfunctioning hard drive. What remained was only an initial mp3 demo. Collaborating with ProdByZeph and employing innovative AI technology, purpl and her team successfully revitalized the track, symbolizing a groundbreaking blend of technology and artistic creativity.

The single draws inspiration from purpl’s first psychedelic experience, as she explains: “I wrote ‘Trippin’ after this incredible experience and wanted to convey the feeling of an amazing trip.” The song captures this essence with an unusual chord progression and synth sound, reflecting the joy and enlightenment of her experience.

Since her emergence in 2020, purpl has quickly carved a niche in the alternative pop scene.
