There’s a fresh face in the indie folk music scene who’s about to take it by storm. Say hello to Noah Solt .

The singer-songwriter’s first-ever single, Spheres, dropped via Starita Records, is filled with dreamy and poetic vibes. A soothing journey filled with layered melodies, cinematic strings, and Solt’s mesmerizing vocals.

Spheres, works as the ideal opening into Solt’s realm, which is shaped by his formal musical training and the vast expanse of the open spaces: “Wash, don’t fight the fear, I’ve been washed across the silent space around through my years”

Sphere, was born from Solt’s maritime adventures, specifically during a journey between Namibia and Brazil on the isolated island of St. Helena in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sitting down at a grand piano, the lyrics flowed effortlessly within 45 minutes, encapsulating a message of embracing each moment as one’s true self. Solt’s hope is that this song empowers both himself and others to be authentic.

Noah Solt sums up his aspiration for Spheres by saying, “After listening to this song, I hope the audience will walk away feeling a bit more peaceful than they might’ve been before and can take a deep breath.”

This debut single is just a taste of what’s to come from Solt’s forthcoming debut album, Big Water. Through his music, Solt embarks on a journey of self-reflection and hope, delving into themes of transition and connection that mirror the awe-inspiring beauty of the ocean that served as his muse.

Noah Solt‘s musical journey began in the landlocked Colorado Rocky Mountains, where he honed his skills as a guitarist. However, destiny had other plans for him. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, he found himself at Berklee College of Music in Boston, but it was his heart that led him elsewhere. In 2020, he chose to follow his passion and become a professional sailor. As he traversed 26,000 miles of open ocean, his music remained a constant companion, guiding him through the vastness and power of the sea. It was during these voyages that he penned the tracks for Big Water, drawing inspiration from the transformative beauty of the sunrise on his boat.

The production of ‘Spheres’ took place at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, where Solt collaborated with the GRAMMY®-recognized producer, Starita. Known for his genre-blending style, Starita seamlessly merges electronic elements with live instrumentation. The result is a lush yet intricate soundscape that perfectly complements Solt’s vision.

Noah Solt is a name to remember in the indie folk scene, and his journey has only just begun.
