Hailing from the Netherlands, indie-rock band Gravity Circus have unveiled their latest infectious offering, Shaky Little Dice Roll. Framed by an unrelenting drumbeat and fiesty riffs, this riotous release is an intense and powerful rock track. Refusing to conform and challenging the status-quo at every turn, this hard-hitting duo are turning the rock scene on its head.
Explaining their inspiration behind their new track, Gravity Circus shared: “Shaky Little Dice Roll is a track that was created from the main riff idea that Jimmy thought upon the acoustic guitar, which led to an avalanche of other ideas, including lyrics, song structure, and the millennial whooping chorus. It felt like such an amazing track to play live, that we mustered our courage to fly up to London and work with Bryan Wilson in the Livingston Studios (where a couple of our heroes have recorded their tracks as well, like Twenty One Pilots and Ben Howard). That felt like a dream come true!”
Coming only weeks after “rock ‘n’ roll will never die” was declared on TV screens worldwide at Eurovision 2021, Gravity Circus are adding even more fuel to the fire with Shaky Little Dice Roll. With all the attitude and bravado of the classic rock bands of the 80s, the pair are also embracing indie influences, resulting in a rapturous record.
