Who are some of your biggest musical inspirations and why?
Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Roy Orbison, the early albums Crying and In Dreams just have incredible songs on them, songcraft at it’s best and production that has a solid three dimensional feel with big big room sounds.
What are some non-musical inspirations that motivate your music?
Good amount of script writing allows me to explore the deep chasm that is spotify. once you go down a few rabbit holes, you’ll begin to stumble on gold. In the past someone at the store or a friend had to turn you onto something and besides radio, streaming allows for easy access to any whim. So once you find that new channel there comes the dice..
Tell us about your new single for Hometown?
Well I like the open G tuning, so I ended up coming up with that one right before we recorded. I was going for a blade runner soundscape meets americana, call it pulsar pop…
What can we expect from you in 2020?
Album comes out in the summer and we’ll be doing some touring in the fall. Also shooting a good amount of music videos that we’ll be rolling out
