South Koreanalt-pop artist ID:EARTH (아이디얼스) reveals herTop 5 Influences Playlist and shares enticing and pensive release ‘Betting’, featuring rising Seoul based rapper Dbo. The lush track is lifted from the forthcoming 4-track EP ‘Panorama’ due later this year.

She explains: “This song is about the beginning of society. Whether I should do what I like or what I am good at, I give the audience the choice and the conclusion is that everything should be prepared first. Remember the original purpose and don’t fall for the greed presented by others and make my beliefs blind and deaf. Regardless of the choice, I want and the choice I make for myself, I have to be ready to believe in ‘me’ to get a proper start.”

Sufjan Stevens – You Are the Blood

The music that got me interested in the synth. I like experimental music, so this track makes my ears so fun.

David Garrett – Erlkönig

David Garrett’s album ’Garrett vs. Panini’, an artist I got to know while watching the movie ‘Paganini: The Devil’s Violonist (2013)’, is really fantastic. I used to play the violin when I was young, but I often develop a classical instinct that fell asleep in me.

Radiohead – Reckoner

When I was a teenager, I fell in love with this song for a while. It stimulated my emotions. Eventually, I went to Osaka to see the radio head and listened to this song live.

Birdy – Words As Weapons

When I was young, my friends introduced artists such as Shakira, Billy Eilish, Aurora, and Bjork whenever they heard my voice, and I got to know Birdy. There was a time when I liked the medieval feeling for a long time, and at that time, the feeling of this music and the music video were directed in a style that I liked so much. When I listen to this song, it gives me energy that makes me want to perform.

ROSALÍA & Travis Scott – TKN

It’s clean and minimal, In a way, it’s the complete opposite style to my music but the proper silence and rhythm are so impressive. It’s a piece of music that’s perfect for the parts you need and you can hear the details of the vocal well. An artist who makes Spanish sound so attractive. And collaboration with Traviscott is an illusion.  In addition, while listening to the ‘Con Altura’ featuring El Giuncho, she finds an artist who fits her color well, In addition to music, the combination of directing and outfits is fantastic.

The Weeknd – Save Your Tears

I started to like The Weekend’s ‘Starboy’ Album. Listening to Weekend music makes me excited and feel good rhythm.  It gives me the thought of wanting to brighten up my music. The recent sound of ‘Dawn FM’ Album is crazy, too.
