How To Be More Confident & Attractive

By Vanessa B

Life is full of ups and downs and some days are harder than others. However, staying down and being upset with yourself for too long can steal your joy and confidence.

Instead, focus on doing what will make you feel more confident and be more attractive overall. You’ll find you’re much happier when you’re pleased with yourself and how you’re living your life. It’s ultimately up to you and what you decide to do or not do each day that will impact your mood, attitude, and overall self-assurance.

Avoid Negativity

You can become more confident and attractive and feel good about yourself every day by being a more positive person. Avoid negativity at all costs including pessimistic people and negative self-talk. Focus on what’s going well and good for you and practise gratitude for what you do have in your life and for what’s going right with it.

Groom Yourself & Dress Well

Another way to be more confident and attractive is to take good care of yourself. Groom yourself each day and commit to dressing well. Consider checking out the SweaterShop’s Aran range and investing in this staple in a few different colours so you can get dressed with ease and know you look good. Avoid wearing sweatpants all the time and instead get up, get ready, and get dressed in clothes that make you feel your best.

Do What Makes You Happy

Living someone else’s dreams or life won’t make you feel too good. Instead, do more of what makes you happy and makes you excited to get out of bed each day. Find your passion and then do whatever it takes to follow it and create a life that puts your skills to good use and that you feel proud of. You’ll have more confidence and will appear more attractive when you have a solid foundation to work from and are in love with your own life and career.

Have Good Posture

Good posture goes a long way in helping you to feel more confident and appear more attractive. First impressions matter so make sure that when you enter a room you do so with your shoulders back and your head held high. Look others in the eye when you greet them and make sure your presence is known, without being arrogant or intrusive. You’re telling the world all about yourself and who you are by exuding good posture in social situations. It’ll ignite confidence in your brain and soon you’ll feel more self-assured too.

Smile More

Smiling is an excellent way to turn your mood around for the better and is an opportunity to be more confident and look more attractive. You’ll appear friendlier and happier and others will be more drawn to you and your energy. Put a smile on your face in the morning and notice how it instantly changes your disposition and frame of mind for the better. It makes you feel good and helps you convey confidence even if your thoughts don’t align with your facial expressions. You’ll feel more confident and others will perceive you as more likable.
