HEDARA Learns To Love Herself On SAD GIRL SYNDROME

The new single is an ode to self-love..

Drawing from her large collection of feelings for a brand new alt-pop banger, London songwriter Hedara returns with the epic Sad Girl Syndrome. It’s the first track from a new EP due for release later this year and it’s an upbeat tale of self-love and self-value.

After graduating from the world famous Brit School alongside the likes of Freya Ridings, Hedara was faced with a health scare that lead to reconsidering music as a career altogether. The life-threatening incident lead to soul searching and an eventual realisation that music was her true passion in life.

Since then her musical output has been nothing short of prolific. The new single Sad Girl Syndrome is a perfect example of the standard of pop music she’s able to create. Uplifting piano chords perfectly juxtapose the melancholic lyrical content.

“I usually write songs about other people, but Sad Girl Syndrome was written for me. A love letter, if you will, to myself, as a reminder that we all have flaws, we all make mistakes but as long as we learn, we grow, and that’s a reason to always love yourself.”
