British-born singer-songwriter Hannah Reem releases her fifth new single on Mayfield Records. Sonically blending blues, soul and R&B, fused with modern electronic sounds, her new single ‘Deception’ finds her exploring a twisted love story about infidelity and the complexities surrounding painful choices over a downtempo electronic-soul backdrop. Her powerhouse vocals take center stage in this modern soul record highlighted in the emotional chorus.
When asked about the new single, Hannah described that “I’ve felt fury and been forced to lose, I’ve been homeless and broke, felt like a joke, and cheated on by those that I choose. But I’ll get through.”
