London-based Bubblegum Pop Brit Rap Punk Electronic, excitingly foul mouthed anti-princess GIRLI, unleashes another explosive pop statement, with new track ‘Too Much Fun’ (released on PMR Records).
The exciting new “urban cyber-electronic sugar dance pop” number, by the project led by Milly Toomey, it’s produced by up-and-coming Norwegian producer Henrik the Artist.
GIRLI’s forthcoming 14+ debut headline show Upstairs @ The Garage on July 12th is now sold out, but don’t you worry…more dates will be announced very soon. In the meantime, here’s GIRLI AND DJ Kitty’s adventures at The Great Escape in Brighton…
Speaking on the video for her previous offering ‘Girls Get Angry To’, GIRLI said: “the inspiration behind the video was to use demented dolls as the many different characters that I rap about in Girls Get Angry Too. On a deeper level, the video makes a comment on how women are categorised and boxed up and sold idealised versions of themselves or you could just say it’s about Barbie dolls. Either way, don’t box up angry girls. Seriously. Just don’t…”.
