Review – Paul Tully Auntie Annies, October 6.
I didn’t know what to expect when I seen Paul take to the stage with an electric guitar player but I’ll tell u what I’m impressed.
Paul is every soppy woman’s dream, singing about life, love and loss. I imagine he’s many a Belfast girl’s choice of break up music and that’s not an insult.
Emotional and at times angelic Paul comes across on stage as the perfect boy next door, a very sellable quality.
The hard crowd did nothing to help his performance or make him feel comfortable and at times ruined the fantastic electric guitar effects and sounds which added a whole new dimension to Paul’s stuff.
Looking forward to downloading some of Paul’s material to add to my “relaxing” playlist.
