STARFIRE is the perfect introduction to Isaac Saenz’s project gettinga.life. The lushly refreshing offering comes alive with this euphoric synth-pop gem that commands our full attention from the start and keeps it till the finish.
This vibey track from the West Texas artist melds beautifully with synths, intimate vocals, and warm melodies.
Isaac explains: “The song is about wanting to run away with your unrequited love painted with synths and melancholy vocals. Definitely, a song you’d drive into the sunset if you ever get to.”
On the recording of STARFIRE he shares: “I recorded my vocals in my old bedroom at my mom’s house when I temporarily moved back during the pandemic – he adds – I recorded STARFIRE in my bedroom and ColorMind produced the instrumental. I also had help with the lyrics from Vincent Ernst who happens to be the synth player in Magnolia Park.”
