The Nice Guy is the latest release from singer/songwriter Geena Gani. It’s a feel-good pop song about the pain of a nasty break-up. Geena opens up to her listeners as she talks about heartbreak, and betrayal, contrasted with the beat of an upbeat, summery pop song. Her lyrics are full of raw vulnerability, all dressed up in colourful, vibrant pop, with an irresistibly catchy hook and 90s vibes to boot.

”This is a lighthearted, sassy take on what was the darkest part of my life. This is a summer tune to blast alone or with your friend group and be able to laugh about whatever shit you’ve been through.’’

Geena calls this latest track a ‘’sarcastic girl boss pop song’’, and from the look of things, she’s quite the girl boss herself. Geena is the “label”, marketing team, business manager, publisher and creative director for all of her self-titled work. Aside from her music career, Geena is also a film school graduate and is pursuing work as a screenwriter and actor. Her ambition and work ethic are admirable, and it’s clear that she really knows what she’s talking about when it comes to female empowerment.

With this kind of engaging songwriting and sheer talent, it’s not hard to see that Geena Ganji is an up-and-coming artist to watch.
