Gear up—Bottomless Brunch’s new single ‘Rocket Fuel’ is set to rock the music scene

"This song is a testament to how powerful music can be, and how impactful the act of creation is. So, in a slightly twisted way, we’re thankful for the betrayal as it led to this song - and a valuable life lesson”

Rocket Fuel, the fiery new single from London rockers Bottomless Brunch, has the music world abuzz. By merging rough-around-the-edges rock with indie’s more introspective side, they’ve crafted a sound that resonates with listeners on big-time platforms like Radio X, BBC Introducing, and Amazing Radio. You might know them as the loudmouthed upstarts Bottomless Brunch, but behind the riff-raff are Tyler Adams, Tim Beavis, and Jake Saunders – three musicians not afraid to challenge the order.

Their debut singles, Pawn and Bite Your Tongue, signal a rowdy entry into the fray. Rocket Fuel has got rhythm, and then some – the drums drive the beat, but the real action happens when the lead vocals take center stage, trading verses between honey-smooth crooning and startling spoken word asides. This creates a hypnotic intensity that builds up to a climactic, euphoric explosion of sound.

The band explain: “Rocket Fuel was written from a perspective of anger after a nasty betrayal, and as I was expressing that emotion in the lyrics, the initial anger quickly morphed into motivation to rise above and outgrow the negativity. The three of us wanted that transformation to show its face in the instrumentation of the song, which pushed our limits as musicians too. This song is a testament to how powerful music can be, and how impactful the act of creation is. So, in a slightly twisted way, we’re thankful for the betrayal as it led to this song – and a valuable life lesson.”

Fueling the creation of Rocket Fuel was a fiery passion born from a personal stab in the back, which eventually ignited a fierce determination to rise above the ashes. What happened was nothing short of sonic alchemy – the band poured their hearts into the instrumentation, producing a living, breathing saga that vividly captures the thrill of rising from the ashes. Their concept for Bottomless Brunch germinated from personal encounters, plus the infectious dynamism of London’s vibrant streets.

The vibrant sound of this outfit was forged under the guidance of Tim Greaves, a seasoned producer at Southsea Sound, who married classic rock sensibilities with modern energy, à la Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, and Royal Blood. It’s no accident their music resonates with so many people – it’s a direct result of their fearless commitment to expressing themselves honestly, and when that authenticity meets their live energy, the result is absolutely mesmerizing.

Rocket Fuel is the latest chapter in Bottomless Brunch’s sonic saga, and it’s a doozy – cementing their status as rock music’s most compelling conversationalists, whose sounds are as infectious as they are intricately woven. Their music takes a dramatic turn with this track, capturing the raw intensity of their personal experiences and somehow making them universally relatable.
