Gabby Rivers, the rather talented singer-songwriter from Suffolk, is back with a brand new banger called Two Face. It’s off her highly anticipated EP titled Disappointed But Not Surprised.
The 20-year-old rising star is already snagged spots on some major festival lineups like Latitude, Reading and Leeds, Secret Garden Party, and Wildpaths Music Festival.
Two Face is the perfect example of her unique indie-rock-pop sound. Her infectious, youthful vocals blend seamlessly with an explosive musical backdrop, creating a vibrant and energetic experience.
your stood around treating me like a baby
I can’t work with these bossy bitches
I want to laugh in absolute stitches
But these people hurt my brain
I just want to get paid
Rivers‘ vocals on this track are absolutely intense. They coincide perfectly with the punchy drums, distorted guitar lines, grounding bass, and strummed acoustics. The emotional intensity in her voice is truly captivating and adds an extra edge to the whole song.
Speaking about the single Gabby Rivers says: “Two Face is about working in retail and one particular person causing havoc, they become the main cause of drama, talking about people but always being nice to their face and making a work place unenjoyable. So I wrote this song for people to scream after a bad shift and to know that yes, retail may be toxic but you’ve got to learn to ignore the haters.
The song is inspired by artists such as Wolf Alice, Nothing But Thieves and Florence and the Machine. It first started out on an acoustic guitar in my bedroom before taking it to the band one day in band rehearsal.”

With an awesome 5-piece band backing her up, Gabby Rivers has been killing it! She’s gained support from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 Music, and even opened for cool bands like Vistas, Coach Party, and Tiny Umbrellas. Her fanbase is growing like crazy!
Not to mention, she’s had the honor of opening for some seriously cool bands like Vistas, Coach Party, and Tiny Umbrellas.
Her fanbase? It’s growing faster than you can say “rockstar.” If you haven’t taken the Gabby Rivers train yet, it’s time to hop on before it leaves the station!
