From Underground Clubs to Rave Energy: Wedding Release ‘Jobseeker’

With Jobseeker, Copenhagen-based club’n’roll trio Wedding lean into pure friction.

The EP fuses rock’s physicality with club immediacy; breakbeats, distorted guitars, trashy pianos, and kitsch vocal samples colliding into something raw, volatile, and body-first by design.

Following 2024’s Sunflower EP, Jobseeker sharpens rather than resets Wedding’s identity; faster, louder, and more assured. Jungle, rave, and punk instincts drive the momentum, while flashes of warmth and ethereal detail keep the chaos human.

Wedding’s reputation in Copenhagen’s underground has risen fast, driven by chaotic live shows that drop noisy guitars and live drums straight into club spaces. Formed by Kristian Alexander Pedersen and Kristoffer Bech, later joined by Hasse Bruun Guiseppi, the trio fuses contrasting instincts into a sound that thrives on tension.

Jobseeker captures Wedding in motion: incendiary, physical, and unapologetically alive; an EP that treats the dancefloor like a rock show and the rock show like a rave.
