Fringe Frontier return with Criminal Hour, an eight-track indie-rock album driven by punchy guitars, restless rhythms and late-night Americana.

John Lloyd and Jerry Thomas pull from garage rock, punk, shoegaze and classic rock ’n’ roll, using the mix to examine loneliness, addiction, memory and ambition.

Mixed by Midlake drummer McKenzie Smith and mastered by Kim Rosen, the record pairs raw guitar energy with a broader cinematic edge.

Heading For, Think Back, and Little Five Points move through isolation, connection, and memory; while The Lights of Edisto, Personal Ad, and Follow Me tackle recovery, relationships, and the chase for recognition.

City of Dreams reflects on New York ambition before the title track closes among empty streets and a mind that refuses to switch off.

Criminal Hour works through sharp hooks, lived-in storytelling and just enough grit to keep the nostalgia honest.
