London based four-piece FOURS, present their rather fetching pop-rock with new single ‘Even In My Dreams’, out on now via Big Indie Records.

Hey FOURS! How’s it going?

Hiya! Well, we get to play our first show in months next week so I’d say we are quite excited for that! Also, we were at a wedding last night, so a little hungover.

Please introduce yourselves:

We consist of Edith, Dan, Jez & Luke. We all live in South London, roughly 10 minutes apart and our hobbies include making fun of each other and complaining about work. We started making music together a few years ago and the sound has evolved gradually, it probably always will.

Describe your sound in five words:

Fun, funky, fierce, fresh, focused.

What’s your new single ‘Even In My Dreams’ all about?

It’s about f**kboys making you hate yourself. And not being able to stay away from them. The hold they have on you and the guilt you feel knowing you’ll just keep hurting yourself for even going there.

Any new London-based artists you can recommend to us?

Erthlings are currently top of our new fave bands list. Also Childcare are just about to start their UK tour and I love them!

What advice would you give new artists starting out in the industry?

Try and find a good group of like-minded people to work on your project with you, it’s much easier when you have people to vent to & create with. Don’t pay promoters to play their shows, you’re making them money anyway. Try not to compare yourself all the time, there will always be someone much better than you, but also probably someone much worse.

If you could collaborate with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

I would love to sing with Nina Simone, she’s my idol. Although, I may be too mortified to do that, like how dare I sing at the same time as the queen? I also love Freddie Mercury, that would be so fun dancing around the stage with him.

Who are your biggest influences?

Soul singers have a big influence on me. I would say The 1975 and Fleetwood Mac have an influence on how we try and write music.

What are your plans for the rest of 2018?

We are going back into hiding for the rest of 2018! We are close to finishing all the songs we’ve been writing this year and we can’t wait to show them off, so 2019 should be fun.

Where can we find you online?

We are all over the online! Twitter and Instagram are probably where you will find us day to day. All the tunes are on all the platforms for your listening pleasure!

Any last words?

I believe you Dr Christine Blasey Ford.
