Foster the People join The Script, Two Door Cinema Club, Ellie Goulding and The Wombats on the line- up for Day 1 at Tennent’s Vital.
Psychedelic indie trio, Foster the People, are the latest addition to the incredible line up for Tennent’s Vital 2011 which already features the very best in international and homegrown talent this August 23rd and 24th at Ward Park, Bangor.The LA threesome have been one of the most celebrated newcomers to the scene since single ‘Pumped Up Kicks’, and this year their debut album ‘Torches’, sparked what the band describe as ‘flattering’ comparisons to MGMT.
Spending the summer at the very best festivals in the world, on a tour schedule which has taken in Glastonbury, and will include Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, the guys will be jetting in to Bangor this August to kick off the two day festival, Tennent’s Vital, which makes a welcome return to the musical soundscape this summer after a 4 year hiatus.
Foster the People open the stage for The Script who play Tennent’s Vital on August 23rd, supported also by Two Door Cinema Club, Ellie Goulding and The Wombats.
The line up on August 24th features Eminem, and sold out within an hour of being announced this May.
