Foo FightersFoo Fighters – Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear – will headline a massive gig at Slane Castle on Saturday 30th May. Special guests are Kaiser Chiefs and amazing Irish singer/songwriter Hozier. Tickets go on sale at 9am Monday 1st December from Ticketmaster. The band sold 300,000 tickets in the UK last Friday, which include 160,000 tickets across two sold out shows at Wembley Stadium.

Each song features local legends sitting in, with every lyric written in an unprecedented experimental style. Kaiser Chiefs returned with their fifth studio album ‘Education, Education, Education and War’ last May, which went to Number 1 in the UK charts. Kaiser Chiefs will also join Foo Fighters as special guests in South Africa in December and South America in January. Kaiser Chiefs have sold over 3 million albums in the UK and over a million singles including their hits ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Ruby’.

Hozier released his debut No 1 album last September. It is still at number four in album charts nine weeks later. Hozier’s sold out Irish shows kick off next week. His 20 date US tour in February & March including shows at The Beacon Theatre and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York are all sold out. Hozier’s current hit single ‘Angel of Small Death & The Codeine Scene’ is out now.
