It’s an Uplifting Electro-Pop Single
By Vee D
London-based, raised in devon songwriter FONN returns with an uplifting, spirited electronic-pop single that’s full of the right kind of motivation for the difficult times we face. Built on a myriad of synth elements, it’s a rich tapestry of alt-pop that glistens throughout. FONN’s vocal sits on top of the mix with pristine and lush chemistry, providing a perfectly balanced piece of pop music.
FONN is the moniker of Fionn Connolly. Fionn’s battle to overcome mental health issues have inspired his music, as well as artists such as The Japanese House, Bon Iver and The 1975. During his time at university, Fionn played in bands Glass Parachutes and Cadenza, which led him to perform at Cambridge Corn Exchange, on main stages at several May Balls and at TEDxExeter in 2018.
Speaking on the new single, FONN states: “This song is really about finding hope, dealing with issues of isolation and depression, and living for yourself.”
