LA based artist Goldwash drops new single ‘Why Hide It’, taken from his upcoming ‘Episode’ EP. The track is a complex and surprising electro jazzy-pop pearl.

Speaking of the track, London-born, Baltimore-raised Goldwash (otherwise known as Gabe Acheson), explains: “I wrote this song with my friend DJ Stanfill. We tried to capture twisted, the seedy energy of a wild basement party with honest lyrics and heavy instrumentation. The song is lustful, and uses thick, 12-part saxophone harmonies and Lex Luger strings to get at that woozy, hard-driving feeling.”

He describes his music as…”Existential Funk – because – jazz-infused indie-electronic baroque-soul – was a bit too much of a mouthful. It’s really all to do with “turning shitty experiences into positive things, by…goldwashing.”
